Our Men’s Ministry is committed to establishing long-term friendships, fellowship opportunities, biblical teaching, and having fun. We biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in the workplace. Various growth opportunities are planned and organized throughout the year including weekly Bible Studies and Men’s Retreats.

Some call them Small Groups, but we call them “Group Groups”, because it better identifies the content & goal and not just the size. The content and goal is spiritual growth! Growth Groups are a great opportunity to spend time in fellowship, getting to know each other, and grow together in your faith. Check our church calendar to see when and where the next small group will be held. All are welcome, childcare can be arranged as needed too! If you are new to our church family, feel free to visit any of our groups at anytime and get plugged in immediately!
Many of our Growth Group initiatives are through the following:
Sermon-based Growth Groups
Consists a group of 5-10 individuals that meet 6-8 weeks several times throughout the year to dive deeper into the sermon that was previously covered on Sunday Morning.
One-to-One Bible Reading
This group of 2 individuals of your choosing (Christian or non-Christian), to sit and read the bible together with guided questions provided by Youngstown Metro Church. This is a way to grow in your knowledge of God in a way that is simple and personal, and that also doesn’t rely on getting your reading partner to a church program or event. international college student outreach
Our international ministry team actively pursues genuine relationships at Youngstown State University through consistent engagement in university events, international fellowship on campus, and frequent dinners throughout the year. Through partnering with campus ministries like Chi Alpha, Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO), and InterVarsity, Youngstown Metro Church is able to host events in the church and other various opportunities to proclaim the Gospel and share Jesus Christ with the unreached people groups local to the campus.

CARING WELL TEAM
Churches should be a refuge for those who have experienced abuse. But, too often, survivors haven’t found the protection they deserve and the care they need from the church. This team will launch May 3, 2020 as a unified call to action nationwide that Youngstown Metro Church is taking part of to take a stand against abuse, and protect/prevent our church from any instances of such abuse.
